How to manage Avast Ransomware Shield?

By default, Ransomware Shield blocks all the viruses and protects your folders. It allows only trusted an app to make changes to your files as well as on folders. When an untrusted app tries to make changes to your protected files and folders, Ransomware Shields sends the notification, asking whether you wanted to allow or block the app. After getting your comments, the app gets either added to the ‘Blocked app’ list or ‘Allowed app’ list.

To modify it manually, add an app either on the ‘Blocked’ or ‘Allowed’ list. You need to click on the option ‘Allow an App or Block an App’. Select any app and click on the option ‘Open’.
To remove an app, move your cursor on the particular app and click on the icon ‘X’. And select the option ‘Close’ to return to the main screen.
